Class Features (Meta Note)

by Conrad Serif

Spellcasting (Divine): Conrad's magic stems (mostly) from the faith in his own divinity. Within his own body and blood lies dormant the strength that Vassals and Thranes believe belong to entities above or chosen for great purpose by forces beyond our world. A number of spells have a more physical root in the Mark of Scribing on his face, but isn't that just a result of his blood?

Death Domain: Conrad has honed his magic towards the war he has known his whole life. In a world so terrible and uncaring Conrad has set his will against it, unpreoccupied with how such dark magics may seem to nonbelievers (though still mindful of social constraints).

Reaper: Growing up near the Nightwood, there was no shortage of people who had a basic understanding of necromancy and the energies of Mabar. He similarly treats his reliquary with rituals that collect the energies of Mabar, which allows him to widen the reach of those aspects of his divinity that he has mastered.

Channel Divinity: Conrad has awakened only a fraction of his divinity in the years that he sought to master it. When he sets his will to rouse it, it pours out in a red mist from around where his prosthetic attaches to his body.
Turn Undead: Conrad recites a censure of those who have given up or lost the path to Divinity. The red mist spreads out to an aura of thirty feet and all within feel the warmth and power of his Divinity.
Touch of Death: Inspired by his military background, Conrad has learned to empower his weapon blows. The red mist swiftly liquifies and magnetizes to his weapon. As it connects with his target, the blood splatters over that target and burns with a black smoke before absorbing within the target.
Harness Divine Power: Conrad guides the mist towards his reliquary or immediately folds it within a spell.
