Naked on The Roofs of Akk-Ur

As my newly-founded "friends" had decided that the next step in our quest of unearthing the foul scheming in the capital was aiding private investigator Hassimir in his search for incriminating evidence for the Heshoo Gang, I found myself standing in a rugged back-alley in the West of Akk-Ur next to Imaros looking over our shoulders. Malgrim had decided to enter the antiques shop they call The Red Sun as a 'diversion' to draw attention away from the rest of the group. Unbeknownst to him, Jaque-why-Lynn (or however it is supposed to be uttered) had used invisibility and retrieved papers containing shady dealings. Whilst standing in the dust I noticed two individuals who had glanced at Malgrim's entering of the shop one too many times. I advised Imaros to take a discrete peak at the two, which he failed to do, instead drawing suspicion. Nothing came of it though as Malgrim returned safe and sound, speaking how blatantly heartfelt and forthright he had been inquiring about the mother of the lady behind the counter. A countermeasure was thought out to see if we were followed. It would seem we were not. and I used sending to the bartender to reserve a table for five at The Builder's Arms.
 
There, we spent the night drinking and feasting and this is where things went south. After a great volume of beer Malgrim decided to play strip-dice outside the establishment with two newly befriended drunkards named Zuuth and Ubar. The City Guard emerged and wanted to halt continued tomfoolery. They demanded that the three naked blokes put their clothes on. Delgado had decided to excuse his friend when Malgrim made a run for it and was quickly scaling the wall and running naked on the roofs with Delgado in pursuit with his clothes in hand. Passing into the central triangular square Malgrim evaded both a Hold Person scroll and a heavy crossbow bolt from two royal guards. Disguised as a royal guard Delgado finally caught Malgrim who demanded the two guards apologize to him. Malgrim's got nerves I'll tell you that! Anyway, he still returned safe and somewhat less sound with his furry feline fellow. Quite sour Delgado was.
 
They following morning Hassimir entered the inn and we talked business. Jacqualine did most of the talking really. Suddenly Imaros were taken away for questioning by two henchmen of Hassimir and when Delgado questioned this Hassimir uttered a spell in a strange tongue. Then he said he knew about our visit to the Morrowfall Redoubt and that he himself was affiliated with The Order of Vice. Furthermore he confirmed that the Heshoo Gang had struck a deal with a certain part o the Hammerites. And when we pressed him on what information he had for us he pleaded he needed more time. The excuses followed one another and soon I grew tired, and my thoughts wandered towards memories of my homeland. The sharp look of Jacqualine however, as she briefly glanced at my zoned-out face, made me realize this woman had prevented me from ever returning home and melancholy soon washed over me. Such is the Elven beauty.
