I pen this at our new home; ‘tis been a week here on The Sprint, and today we’ve received our first job!


I have spent the last week searching for woodwork; idle paws lead to ruin, mother would say. I fear Thejon too would agree, and while I have brought in less coin than my 'mates, my work is more honorable and rewarding that their carousing I think.



Too I pray I can make my work seem official and as dignified as Thejon himself:

Mission 1:



  • Investigate Cassius Evergreen’s death

  • His handler Rayne Steelhammer is missing as well

  • Officer Wilhelm was 1st on the scene





We’re at Cassius’ house in the Sprint; Seven and Täctus are up and downstairs investigating the inside. Zippi is preparing a spell to scan as well, and I’m here for backup, and taking the chance to take some notes.



Thus far:

  • Cassius was poisoned, with a blowgun – he retched aside his bed, and Täctus fears the assassin entered via a window in the bedroom

  • The house was ransacked and searched

  • His bedroom upstairs contains a dumbwaiter, which Seven wants to check out
    • (perhaps it goes somewhere secret?)
