The prisoner guy told us Remzir wants to gather a treasure fit for a queen, the cave is a dragon hatchery, the monk is to be executed in the morning, and Frulum is called, "Wearer of the Purple."
We decide we have to go into the camp and save that monk. Well, really the others decided it and I was too scared to stay alone. We get questioned there, of course. Windward got all uppity with Langdrosa and said he was the Ambassador of some giant king named King Hecketon. Well that made Langdrossa mad so we all got captured. Except, they didn't know I stole keys from the guy that locked us all up. so we didn't stay locked up. Goodnight sent her bird to set some fires to make distractions. That worked pretty well. I flew to the top of the cliff and waited while the others climbed up. I threw down a rope and used it to pull up Dreadnought. He was knocked out so I found his healing potion and dumped it in his mouth. Luckily all of us, including the monk, made it. IT took a while, but we got back to Greenest eventually.
The governor guy was real excited to hear what we learned, and then he paid us.
I found the limping guy and told him we saved his dad or whatever that monk was to him. He was happy and said the like to study the dragon cult together. He wouldn't pay me but he did give me a secret.
Later I spoke with Windward. I wanted to find out why he keeps watching me and he said it's because he almost died a lot because he lived in an ice sea. Then he insulted Harrows pendant and said he's haunted by a raven and he has dreams about flying. I told him about the carnival, and he said he never a of one and thinks it sounds pointless. I told him it's fun and fun is the most important thing in life. So now he wants to learn fun. I think maybe I will help him with that.
The monk guy wanted to see us the next day. He wants us to go BACK to that dumb camp and watch the cave. I don't know why he didn't just watch it himself when he was a prisoner there, but he wants to give us gold to do it, and I need lots of gold to get to Beregost.
