17th of Sintalis 2642 (short rest 1): Before we shove off, Ursula decided to run off the ship for some reason. I go get her, with Talbrix. We head out for the base of the Maritime marshals, and deal with our new passengers. I fish up some fish, and a tiny chest carved to look like it has numerous feet on the bottom containing:
A multicolored stone disk
A 1-ounce block made from an unknown material
A dead scarab beetle the size of your hand

I try to toss the beetle off the boat, but it appears back in the box. I pull out the stone disc and nothing apparently happens. I pull out the block and it doubles in size, i leave it out for a bit, and it keeps growing. To be safe, I toss it off the boat. Ursula was playing some magic or something, with Catarina, and looked to cast Minor Illusion on accident, and it was a hag. After it dissipated, I created a new one to follow here around. I was approached by one of the new passengers, Rigger Tamsin Windshadow, who apparently was on the same ship as me before I joined this crew. A little suspicious, because I thought I was the only survivor. I should probably keep an eye on her.

That night, during my watch, Daji wakes me up and apparently Ursula ate a bunch of our fish rations and grew shark teeth. He tied her to the mast. That creepy bird came by and dropped off a nice fish, I think it was trying to tell me something, but I don't get it. I tied up the fish just out of reach of Ursula for fun. After my shift, I woke up Catarina and Tamsin to take the next shift. It's been a LONG FREAKING DAY.
