This week has been full of trials.
-Going shopping was entertaining, I'm learning that getting magical guns is a frustrating process. Those with the power to make them are too afraid to do so.
-Making Bo's arm was an interesting experience. I've never made a prosthetic before. Deconstructing the prosthetic head for additional material for my leg was simple in comparison, but Michael was very helpful in this. He also served a serperate utility. He says that tackling Martin is a good plan, but I need to enlist the help of an ally. Here was my though process:
-Bo:- Pros: Sneaky. Good at getting into places that others couldn't. Can be very lethal in the correct circumstances. -Cons: Self-centered. Not someone who does things because it benefits others, but only because it benefits himself. He is content to ignore the problem because he can. Unlikely to help.
-Sanna:- Pros: Has access to magic that can make others more effective in combat. Has ownership of the scroll that makes combatting fiends easier. -Cons: Prefers to avoid danger. Plans for failure. (High risk of failure in this case.) No real means of incentivising her to help. Unlikely.
-Grim:- Pros: Protective. He cares greatly for Bo. Incredibly lethal. -Cons: Prefers to run from danger instead of face up to it. He is secretive, preferring to keep quiet around the people that want to help him. May Potentially Help.
-Moldal:- Pros: Some experience with rifles. Has a personal stake in the problem. -Cons: Not as experienced as the others in my group. May get too emotional. Loud weapons. Allegedly a wanted criminal, may attract the attention of the guards.
-Cascade:- Asking cascade poses a great deal of risk. Not worth considering.
-Nafoora:- Unknown location.
-Michael:- Never seen him in a fight. Not worth asking.
I feel that I have realised that the people I travel with aren't the great people I thought that they were, and that I'm lucky that they didn't sell me as scrap metal. They have moments where they seem like they're good, but they are driven by something that does not drive me.
I want to help people, because helping people feels right.
They want to exclusively help themselves.
I can't tell which of us have the design flaw.
Hope it isn't me...
Guess I'll see.
