Lukemire

Lukemire is located closest to the center of The Continent of Frutuscore. It is a small nation made up of rolling hills and wide open fields. It borders Shiokosho, The Roripop Kingdom, and Fascal.

Even though the two get along well in terms of trade, what they do not agree on is the way the government should be run. While Fascal is in favor of a democracy, with the government in the hands of the people, Lukemire prefers getting orders and run by someone with more power to make the decisions. Therefore Lukemire is in favor of The Roripop Kingdom monarchy making and enforcing the law.

Lukemire is also popular among those interested in biology or becoming a vet for it houses the most prestigious and advanced nature related school on the continent: Maize University.

Geography

Lukemire is made up of stone and straw huts with dirt roads and walkways connecting them. It is smaller than Fascal for sure when it comes to populace and infrastructure, but what they lack in that field, they make up with huge farms and rich soil. It is because of their mass production of produce and spices, Lukemire is a popular trading town, especially with Fascal Town's night market.

History

Lukemire is thought to be the third oldest nation on the Continent of Frutuscore right behind Shiokosho. Due to its naturally rich soil it immediately began being used for farming.

The nation struggled during The Frutuscore War as most of its land was taken or destroyed by the Roripop Kingdom or Shiokosho.

Since the war, the nation has been very careful who to trust in terms of alliances. In an attempt to make up for the kingdom's past actions, Princess Blowpop offered a treaty between the Roripop Kingdom and Lukemire. Callery took the offer and the two nations, and their leaders, have been on good terms ever since.

Lukemire has always been independent, using the land around it to support its inhabitants. Recently however, the land has been dying due to some mysterious infection in the soil. It's been killing crops and making livestock sick. This is being looked into and there has been talk of the nation being temporarily placed partially under The Roripop Kingdom's rule in order to provide more resources and aid, much like The Bling Island Reserve.
