Lukemire Village
Lukemire Village is the capital of Lukemire. It is where Callery Lukemire resides and houses Maize University. While most of the other nation's capitals are the largest settlement of their nation, Lukemire Village is but a humble small village consisting of farmland, a few cobblestone streets, shops, and housing.
Demographics
Government
The village was founded and has been run by The Lukemire Family for over two centuries now. Callery Lukemire is the current mayor/ overseer of the village. Even though she's in charge, the village pretty much runs itself. It's powered by the people, for the people. Callery just serves as a representative of the nation to appear at the Monthly Agenda Council really.
Defences
Lukemire has a stone wall surrounding it. Other than that it's just a sitting duck in a large open field.
Industry & Trade
Lukemire Village is essential to the trading industry for they have the largest yield of crops and animal products. They have trade routes with all of the other nations and many of the citizens have stalls at Fascal Town's night market where they sell their goods and make most of their revenue.
History
Lukemire village is very old, founded long ago when Pitaya still ruled over the Material Plane. Frutians first settled here after the events of Kiwano's Pearl fertilized the land. After a century or so the people of Lukemire thought it was time to create a capital after they heard neighboring nations were doing it. That's when Lukemire Village was founded and still stands strong today.
It has gone through many rennovations and has grown in size and population of course, but it still remains nearly the same town as it was two and a half centuries ago.
