Piper Tsubu

Piper Tusbu was the father of Alaea & Sansho Tsubu. He ruled Shiokosho City alone from the years 13AM - 17AM, and then with Piper Tsubu from 17AM - 73AM.

His whereabouts are currently unknown. In the year 73AM he and his wife vanished without a trace. In their absence their children were forced to inherit the throne.

Personal history

Piper's history is minuscule compared to his better half's. He grew up in the castle following his parent's guidance. They wanted him to rule Shiokosho with an iron fist, just like they had over the past century. They led the city through two wars and emerged victorious. High hopes were placed upon Piper's shoulders, and he knew it.

Piper was conflicted. He could rule the city the way his parents did and make them proud, or he could be true to his heart and rule it his way.

He chose the latter, bringing a new age of life and prosperity the city had never seen before. While many people were grateful for this change of pace, Piper also made many enemies. This would soon prove to be true once a member of The Chosen was sent to assassinate him. That person ended up being Laya, and instead of killing Piper, she struck a deal with him.

The Chosen had been a thorn in Piper's side ever since his reign began. His parents were quite content with The Chosen's work and, if their paths did not cross, would leave each other alone. Piper on the other hand just saw religious maniacs using Pitaya's name to do what they wanted. People were suffering and he wanted to stop it.

So when Laya offered to give him inside information on them, he couldn't say no. Well, it took much discussion, flirting, and thorough persuasion first, but Piper eventually gave in. And in return he made Laya his wife.

The two of them loved each other dearly and brought a new age of peace to the nation. They even had two children together, both of which they lovingly raised and taught how to rule the city when it was their turn to inherit the throne.

But then, in 73AM, Piper vanished without a trace.

Piper wasn't much of a religious person. After having Pitaya's name shoved in his face by his parents during his childhood, Piper came to resent him. Laya was the more religious one of the duo, but he understood her beliefs and respected them.
