Shiokosho City

Shiokosho City is the capital of Shiokosho. It is a highly religious city ruled by Alaea Tsubu and her late brother Sansho Tsubu. The city was once split in half, each sibling ruling a side, but since Sansho's recent passing in The Candy Crusade, Alaea has been put in charge of all of it.

Government

The kingdom was once split up between the siblings, each of them ruling half of the city. They both have similar ruling styles, only Alaea's is more elegant and royal. But the death of Sansho makes many wonder if/ how this will change.

The natural mountains surrounding the city provide heavy cover.

Shiokosho City exports gems and spices it produces to other nations.

Districts

Shiokosho City consists of mostly Spyce and Urrbs. A lot of the commoners are the working class, often working in the nearby mines. The upper class resides closer to the castles.

When inheriting the city from their parents, the two siblings split the city in half, creating the Crystaline District and the Peppercorn District.

The Crystaline District: The southern half of the city makes up the Crystaline District. The streets and buildings here are made with light pink crystals. These crystals have formed on the walls of the mountains as well, creating an elegant sea of pink crystals. At the back of the district is Alaea's Crystal Palace; a brilliant structure of pink and red crystals. A lot of the upper class resides in this district due to its beauty and, in the populace's opinion, is the nicer of the two districts.

The Peppercorn District: The northern half of the city makes up the Peppercorn District. Here, much of the landscape is covered with peppercorn like ash, creating small dunes all across the district. A majority of the mines are found in this district, built up the sides of the mountains, causing ash and dust to rain down upon the district, creating a gloomy atmosphere and the small dunes of ash. This dry atmosphere is because this district is closer to Azalea Desert. A lot of the buildings are made from crude stone and the streets are adorned with green lanterns.

History

Shiokosho City is thought to be built on the ruins of where Pitaya's residence once stood when he lived on the Material Plane. It was built by Pitaya's followers and they still make up the majority of the population to this day.

Geography

The city resides within a large valley The Shiokosho Mountains. The mountains surrounding the city provide natural resources such as spices and gemstones. There are a few rivers that flow through the valley and a scarce amount of trees.
