The Chosen

The Chosen is a large group consisting of dozens of Pitaya's followers that has been around for what is estimated to be just over a decade. They are illusive, and don't come together quite often, maybe once every few months or so to perform their infamous Judging of the Scales Ceramony.

Their beliefs are the complete opposite of the followers of Kiwano's. They believe that in order to reach Reveri, they must do Pitaya's bidding, or at least, what they assume his bidding to be. Sending more dead to him, destroying those who believe in Kiwano and Moya, and spreading the good word of him everywhere they can. They are known to be a nuisance in all nations, causing trouble with their concerning speeches and methods of worship.

The Chosen is centrally located in Shiokosho City, which is unsurprising considering the two rulers of it, Alaea Tsubu and Sansho Tsubu, are devout followers of Pitaya.

Structure

The Chosen is extremely organized and is strict with its hierarchy status. The ranks of The Chosen are as followed:

The Reaper- Leader of The Chosen.

The Scythes- The Reaper's elite guards; there are rumored to be three or four of them.

War Priests- High rank priests that are in charge of gatherings, speeches, and prairs.

Priests of the Sycthe- Lower rank priests that work under the War Priests.

Chosen Ones- Followers of Pitaya.

Culture

The Chosen believe the only true way to reach Reveri is appealing to Pitaya's wishes so that he tips the scales in their favor when judging them. It's a mixed belief based on both fear and respect. They believe that Pitaya is always in the right with his decisions and should return to judge mortals the way he used to and restore balance to the Material Plane.

Public Agenda

The actions and overall goal of The Chosen are unknwon for now; however, they are the group suspected of being behind The Candy Crusade, a devistating attack in the The Roripop Kingdom which killed dozens of people.

Assets

The assets and connections of The Chosen are unknown, though some believe Alaea and Sansho Tsubu support The Chosen and that royals are the true source of their resources.

This theory became less clear once Sansho was killed during the Candy Crusade.

History

It is unknown when The Chosen first appeared, though it is estimated that they were founded sometime during Pitaya's reign over the material plane. The organization fizzled out after Moya's birth, breaking into smaller groups with little influence. Recently, sometime around 65AM, they've started making a comeback.

Symbol of The Chosen

The symbol of The Chosen represents the two sides of the scale; the lower portion shows the infinite cycle of reincarnation and the top portion shows the ascention to Reveri that comes with passing The Judging of the Scales.
