The Roripop Revolution

The Roripop Revolution was a brutal conflict within the walls of The Roripop Kingdom that lasted from 116BM - 113BM. It was led by Chupa and Charm Poppu in an attempt to overthrow Gourmet Poppu, the ruler of the kingdom at the time.

The Conflict

Prelude

Gourmet's rule was a cruel and dark time for the Roripop Kingdom and her people. She led them through many wars, forced them to fight on her behalf, and kept essential resources for herself. But due to her iron fist over the kingdom, its resources, and militia, all seemed hopeless until Gourmet had two children. A pair of twins named Chupa and Charm Poppu.

As the twins grew they started to see the monster their mother truly was. After enduring nearly two decades of her cruelty and watching the kingdom suffer they decided to do something about it. Chupa was the first to suggest the idea of a revolution, and while Charm wasn't as on board, she went along with it anyway.

The two of them secretly rallied the kingdom's citizens and used their influence and connections to gather assets and organize a plan. They were able to convince Duke Klondike Talenti to lead the revolution's army, which would be the main reason the revolution succeeded.

Once all was ready, they made their first attack on the kingdom's barracks.

Deployment

The revolution hit many major assets and buildings for the kingdom. They ransacked supply wagons heading for the castle, attacked barracks to steal equipment, and made barricades along the kingdom's roads.

Many citizens were killed in the process, usually by the Royal Guard under Gourmet's orders. Though, as the revolution progressed, much of the guard turned against Gourmet as well.

It all came to a climax when the revolution launched their final attack against the castle itself.

Battlefield

The battlefield took place on the castle's steps.

Conditions

It was cloudy and a light rain began to fall midway through the battle.

The Engagement

After none of the other attempts to stop Gourmet were successful, they decided to take the fight directly to her. Klondike Talenti led the charge against the wall of Royal Guards defending the castle. The main battle was a diversion so that Chupa and Charm could sneak inside to confront Gourmet.

The details after this point are hazy. Klondike and the revolution's eventually defeated the Roripop Militia. Whether this was due to tactical skill or the news of Gourmet's death is unknown, but the revolution was won nonetheless.

Chupa was critically injured during the battle as well. It is unknown if the wound was caused by a soldier or from the confrontation with Gourmet. Gourmet was found on the floor of her bedroom with a knife in her gut.
