Guilds and Factions

The current ruling house of Faerie, House Oriole, holds to most political power. However, the rest of the "High Council" Houses play a large part in governing the city and the Empire. The "High Council" consists of Houses' Oriole, Echo, Nebula, Eternity, Flame, Aura, and Nightmare. Additionally, their is a lower "Council" that consists of over a hundred lower houses, which wield substantial power and influence over the region. Finally, the Imperial Council, which governs for the entirety of the Empire and deals with both internal and external politics consists of the top Houses from every major city.
Additionally, the Order of the Sky has a large spiritual and political influence in Emberton. The main temple of the order is located in the city.

Emberton is located on the banks of the River of Stars. The terrain is primarily grassland, at a low elevation.
