Early Life (722-741)
Boyar of Port Nevan (741-776)
In the year 752, Brosov began the expansion of the city with a massive new district in Port Nevan which would nearly double it's size. This would be completed after Brosov had already ascended the throne in the year 778 and the ward would be named Brosov's Yard, after the Grand Duke himself by the governor of the city who ruled in his stead as an effort to gain favor with the Grand Duke. The Grand Duke did not take kindly to this act of blatant bribery but did could not replace the governor, as he had proved an otherwise highly capable administrator.Reign (776-798)
In the year 777, after having ruled the Grand Duchy for only a year, Brosov noted inefficiencies in the taxation processes of the realm beyond count. He took at once to fixing the many errors he found. By the year 783, the tax reforms had more than filled the coffers of the crown and so with necessary gold, Brosov took to the construction of a palace in which the royal family could winter in. Having fallen in love with the city during his tenure as Boyar, and with it's location as the most southernly city, Port Nevan was the chosen place for palace. Construction would begin 784 and 788 would se the completion of the Argent Palace. Brosov would spend much of the remainder of his reign here. The First Plague of The Green Inferno & Death (798-805)
