Port Nevan
Wards of Port Nevan
The Argent Palace
Completed in 788, The Argent Palace is a massive palace that was constructed during the reign of Brosov I, who so loved spending his time as the Boyar of the city spent much of money his tax reforms had generated to fund it's construction. Known for it's bright white stonework, the Argent Tower is the home of the Boyar of Port Nevan and the dwellings of the Grand Duke on occasion. The Trader's Market
The Docks
The docks of Port Nevan are vital to it's continued status as the thriving center of trade in the whole of the Grand Duchy. From it, to and from New Khirina in distant Ebura, men of the Holy Order are ferried to the Shrine of Aman'yok and trade goods with the Dwarves and Aelves of the Hunolduran Plains can be received and shipped. The Fighting Pits
Nestled in unknown corners of the docks, the Fighting Pits, can be found. Barely legal operations where those down on their luck, or sure of their strength can earn valuable gold. So good is the gold in fact, that for some notable fighters, entire months salaries can be earned in a single fight. The trade off being of course that death is not uncommon in these pits.Brosov's Yard
Named after Brosov I, Brosov's Yard was an expansion to the city completed in the year 778, historically, the Yard had provided accomodations for the lowest among the Nevans. Since the fall of the Hessian Kingdom however, the Yard has been the home of the many refugees who had fled here and to neighboring Fenylnarask. While initially compelled to let them settle outside the walls, Lady Yevgeniya Abroff, Wife to the Grand Duke impressed upon him the need to provide true shelter to survivors.
