Grenet
Owing to their geographically important region situated between both the Kingdom of Aminum and The Republic of Enekland, Grenet has played the role of neutral host for diplomatic treaties between the two states in times of war. Most recently during the The Ferran War of 1130.
Grenet has a long and storied naval tradition acting as the de facto law of their coastal waters, often achieving parity against the two larger states surrounding them owing to their well regarded disciplined navy and well constructed frigates.
Sunder Gate
Following decades of incursions from raiders pouring out of the mountain passes of the western desert, the ruling council of Grenet comissioned the construction and manning of Sunder Gate, which has guarded their north since it's construction. Of late, however, the Garrison of Sunder Gate has taken on more enterprising attitudes.History
Long before the collapse of the Kirshani Empire and the arrival of the Kirshallan peoples, Grenet was originally controlled by the native Ferrani who called the city Gren'et. When they were driven out, the city would be renamed as Kirshallan culture replaced the native Ferrani, though their architecture would live on long past them.
