Pranor's Strand
The Free City of Pranor's Strand, it is a beacon for worshippers for the Faith of the Aman ever since it was visited by Aman'Yok in the year of 999 shortly after the construction of the Great Tower of Pranor. This visited inspired a wave of religious fanatacism amongst the Pranorans. With the Amandeath in the last year of 1134, the people of Pranor's Strand are crestfallen. The Good Wayfarers of the Pranor's Strand proved to be among the earliest of the converts to the newly founded End Times Heralds.
The city has been without a leader following the death of their previous Keeper of The Strand Khazim Fen who had committed suicide following the enactment of the Year's End Edict.
The Great Tower of Pranor
As one of the first of it's kind, the Great Tower of Pranor was a clock tower devised and constructed in the year 996 by the brightest engineers of Dwarf and Man. The tower stood as a testament to the craftsmanship of the people of Pranor's Strand and, adorned with many symbols and writings of devotion to The Aman, it represented the great devotion the people had for their faith.
When the Good Wayfarers began preaching in the city streets of the Prophecy of the Life Unravelling, it whipped a gathered crowd into a frenzy of riotous behavior that quickly spread throughout the city. With the proclamation of Year's End Edict by these heralds, a madness overcame the crowd and while the edict only banned the passing years, the crowd, in their madness, saw the tower as an icon of the new heresy and in their madness set the tower aflame.
