Races

In A.B.E.R.R.A.N.T., your character's race determines which species in the galaxy they call their own, whether it's diverse and ambitious humans, the insular but determined eldar, traditionalist and judgemental duradin, or any of the other species that call the galaxy home. A character's race and their experiences prior to their life as a wayfayer—represented by a background—might be key parts of their identity, shape how they see the galaxy, and help them find their place in it.   The word "race" usually refers to an intelligent, selfaware species whose members can be considered characters rather than simple monsters or primitive aliens. While not all races are appropriate for player characters, many of them are; any creature with a racial traits entry is a member of a potentially playable race, provided that your GM approves it.
