Welcome to Acciphere!
A new world. A new life. Are you ready to breathe it all in?
So you're finally here, reader.
You see a mysterious ladybug-like robot in front of you. She's pointing her hands towards the huge door. You push them away and walk onto the road. You find many people and robots moving around, doing stuff. You are genuinely confused. Noticing it, she starts off.
Anyway, don't fret. Davonica's here to help you out. That's what I usually do around here! I have no choice but to do this over and over again. Anyways, forget about me, and welcome to Acciphere! I promise, you will NOT regret your decision of coming here! If you want to know more, go to Emmett, who's sitting in that shop over there.
Davonica points to a man in his late twenties, wearing a hat and selling maps. He's drawing a beautifully detailed map. Since Davonica already left to get the other tourists behind you, you go toward the man.
Hey there, reader! Um..wait a second, be right back..
Emmett is hurriedly packing everything away. He looks frightened for some reason.
Everything all right? Okay. So, everything here in Acciphere is simple: It's divided into seven Kingdoms, namely the Desert Kingdom, the Ice Kingdom, the South Water Kingdom, the North Water Kingdom, the MechaGods Kingdom, the LavaNord Kingdom and the Garfaxin Kingdom. Was that all seven? One, two, three, four-yeah, those are all the kingdoms. Each of these kingdoms are unique in their own way, with diverse cultures and different agendas. Right now, we're in the Capital of the World, or more commonly known as the City of Gold. We're in Banswick. The BIGGEST city on the planet. It's kinda....crowded, I can say. Here you go, take this map. It'll be helpful to find your way around. Banswick is also known for its winding alleys and confusing roads, so better have a map with you. You do NOT want to be stuck down those alleys, they're dangerous...
Emmett stops before a magnificent gold palace. It looks like it's a bit broken, but nevertheless, it's amazing. You stand there, gaping at the palace in all its beauty, while Emmett looks at you and smiles. Something about you liking the palace seemed to bring up an old memory in him. He adjusts his glasses.
Go into the palace into the library. There you will find a nerdy, skinny man with glasses. Talk to him. He'll tell you stuff. A lot of stuff.
Emmett walks away as you climb the marble-white stairs to the palace. As you enter, you find the inside is even better than the outside of the palace. You wander around the beautifully decorated palace as you search for the library. You find it at last, and as Emmett said, a skinny man with glasses was sitting to a corner of the library, right beside a huge window. He notices you, and immediately puts the book down and walks toward you.
Hey there! I'm Rhodey. Welcome to Acciphere, I must say. As you dive deep into the rich history of the land, you will find records of epic battles, amazing adventures, gruesome deaths, and many more. Oh, and the most important thing is the Artefacts. So the Artefacts are these four stones with mysteriously strong magical powers that form Acciphere. They're like the pillars holding up our world. Making it stable and everything. The Artefacts' power has only been mastered by their respective clans, namely the Clan of Earth, the Clan of Fire, the Clan of the Water, and the Clan of the Lightning. So it's no surprise that there have been many battles over them. You can take an example of the Robot War that happened over five years ago. A powerful reincarnated cyborg called Leonidas got hold of the Artefacts' power, and he almost destroyed the world. But Lucas, Emmett, me, Davonica and our friends brought together Acciphere and defeated him once and for all. Using the Artefacts' power, Lucas took up rule as Acciphere's King and unified it once and for all.
Rhodey picks up his book and walks out. You follow suit. He takes you around the corridors of the palace until he points to four cubes sitting on each pedestal of their own. Each is glowing a different colour, and as you go closer toward them you notice the intricate designs on it.
Cool, huh? I know. Well then, I have to get going. If you really want to know more, go to Adila. Her pub is in the town square. You're in for a treat.
Rhodey leaves you and walks back to the library. You look at the Artefacts, and then walk out of the palace, gaping at it once more. Using the map Emmett gives you, you walk to the town square. There you find a huge sign saying "Adila's Pub" and walk in. You hear a piano playing, and after looking around a bit you find a middle-aged lady with sheet music in front of her. You interrupt her with a hello, and she bursts out in rage.
AURORA, HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU NOT TO DISTURB ME IN THE MIDDLE OF A PIECE- Oh. I didn't expect you to be a reader. Um, sorry?
You apologise for interrupting her, and she brushes it off and pats you on the back. You both start walking.
So howdy there. I'm Adila. My friends probably would describe me as violently charming, full of rage, and an amazing piano player. Don't feel intimidated by me, I'm going to be fine. IF you don't annoy me. Deal?
You nervously put out your hand for a handshake, and she accepts it, almost twisting your hand off. You DO feel intimidated by her presence, but don't want to tell her. You continue walking.
The other religion that has acquired a name over the centuries is Aquarainty. It's quite a remarkable religion too, but it's mostly practiced only near the North Water Kingdom. The Kingdom has looked after the religion like a baby, fiercely developing it in the past few years. Their birthdays are their best rituals. My sources say they're nice.
There have been other minor religions coursing over the history of Acciphere as well, but most aren't major as the above said ones, or have gradually died down.
So most of the festivals in Acciphere mark important events; the birth of a baby to the coronation of a king/queen. There's the International Food Day, which marks the end of the famines, or Independence Day, which marks the death date of the evil cyborg, Leonidas. Most of these festivals have interesting stories as to how they came to be, and why they are still celebrated today. On the whole, Acciphere's festivals are nothing short of boring. My favorite festival is called the Blood Rites. It involves killing a Hellabit Tiger as a tribute to the Sutiratist Hunter Goddess called Qhuris. Fun, isn't it? The one who brings a HellaBit Tiger while still alive wins! There is an official list of all the major and important festivals of Acciphere in a library called the Grand National Library in the Ice Kingdom (which is, by the way, the coolest library on Acciphere according to Rhodey, but it's just a load of papers, books and other useless crud like that.). You can check it out later if you want to know what festivals there are. They're amazing.
Anyway, I have to get back to my pub now, so bye. We shall meet again.
Adila leaves you near the dock of the mighty ship of Odysseus, where you started off in the first place. Davonica is greeting the last tourist on board, and as she is done, she floats toward you. You finally meet her again.
Totally your choice! Want to get familiar with the land? Okay! Or want to read up on your history? Also okay! Down here's a list of all the categories:

Any history, Rhodey?

What about the culture, Adila?

Religions
The biggest religion on Acciphere is one called Sutiratism. It's based off of the beliefs of a legendary family called the Waters. One after the other, the role of High Priest is passed down the Waters family. This high priest is responsible for everything related to Sutiratism, like religious festivals, and so. The religious headquarters is in the Desert Kingdom, where the current High Priest lives. People act like he's the messiah and everything, and give almost everything they have over to him. Honestly, people shouldn't be stupid to give all their belongings away in the name of God.The other religion that has acquired a name over the centuries is Aquarainty. It's quite a remarkable religion too, but it's mostly practiced only near the North Water Kingdom. The Kingdom has looked after the religion like a baby, fiercely developing it in the past few years. Festivals
Oh, Acciphere has lots of festivals. It'd be a headache to count and remember all of them.So most of the festivals in Acciphere mark important events; the birth of a baby to the coronation of a king/queen. There's the International Food Day, which marks the end of the famines, or Independence Day, which marks the death date of the evil cyborg, Leonidas. So, what's next?
Totally your choice! Want to get familiar with the land? Okay! Or want to read up on your history? Also okay! Down here's a list of all the categories:
A Map of Acciphere
Some very famous people
- Lucas Wilde
- Aria Hulkord
- Holgand Waters
- Leonidas West
- David Wilde (Lucas' grandfather)
Some fun facts
- Lucas Wilde is the youngest person in the history of Acciphere to take up the role of Supreme Ruler of the Land.
- The Garfaxin Forest is named after the Garfaxin Kingdom, but most of it lies in the MechaGods Kingdom.
Cuisine
Acciphere's cuisine is very diverse. Basically, it's varies according to the Kingdom you're in. For example, if you were in the Ice Kingdom you'd eat warm food items like Soup of the Souls (more on that later) but if you were in the LavaNord Kingdom, ice-creams and cold drinks rule.Nevertheless, there's still a lot of restaurants in each kingdom that also serve the other kingdoms' cuisine, attracting immigrants or people who just want to try out a new type of dish!
Almost every single Accipheran dinner and lunch is divided into three parts: The main meal (can include anything sweet), the beverage (includes every non-sweet liquid that can be drunk.) and the finalizer (usually quite savory). No matter the weather, the kingdom or the location, these three elements are always present in one or the other way. Down below is a list of the famous dishes from each kingdom.
- Garfaxin Kingdom- Sweet and Sour Hellabit Tiger. It's basically a Hellabit Tiger (very common animal found in the Garfaxin Forest) which is sweetened using honey and caramel
- MechaGods Kingdom- The Lichen Wrap. The lichen grows on the moist exhausts and people dry it to make jerky like leaves. They then wrap the leaves with filling and fry it in leftover machine grease. The filling can be meat, cheese, or the homeless dead guy down the dark alley...
- LavaNord Kingdom - Stuffed Bread. It sounds simple, but the process behind it is complex. It's basically a normal bread, except a curry (which is made from inside the bread) is baked and cooked along with the bread. Voila, Stuffed Bread!
- Desert Kingdom - Skewer On Fire. The stuffing changes a LOT from region to region, but mostly it's vegetable and meat on fire. LITERALLY. You're served with Skewer On Fire while the dish itself being on fire. People find putting fire in their mouths very enjoyable.
- Water Kingdoms- Sweet and Sweeter Hydrolynx Legs. Caramelized and sweetened Hydrolynx legs are cooked inside a special oven native to the Water Kingdoms.
- Ice Kingdom - Soup of the Souls. It's a deathly-black soup made from the blackest mushrooms that grow only on Mount Shiveria. Some say it tastes horrible on the first try, but eventually get used to the taste.

Hello ! This was a pleasant introductory article. I particularly liked the presentation of local cuisine on your sidebar. As for the artworks you chose, they do represent acurately what you wanted, which is a good thing ! What I 'd suggest to improve would be to use a bit of image-links, or present categories as "blocks" instead of "lists" in your last part. As for the narrative choices, it was a good idea indeed to introduce those aspects with different in-world characters, and their tone suggested that they have an in-depth history beneath them. All in all, that's good work ! I'll watch what you do in the future !
I see. Well, I DID try using pictures for each category, but I had to rewrite the whole article because the finished product went haywire. THRICE. Well, at least I won't make those mistakes again! *nervously laughs* Well, I'm glad you liked my work, Pouaseuille! I'll keep up to your expectations.
