Siliko

Siliko was the last god to choose sides during the Godswar, they waited until the winner was clear before committing to either side. In this way, Siliko has always been pragmatic with a view of truth as relative, rather than absolute. When The Great Game began, Siliko assessed what it seemed mortals valued the most, and they seemed to value material comforts. So in his pragmatism, Siliko decided this is what he would focus his energy on, wealth and the means to attain it.   Followers. Most of the mainstream devotees of Siliko are people whose lives revolve around money, merchants, bankers, tradesmen, but also those who attain money through dishonest means, con artists, and thieves. People pray to Siliko for successful business ventures and asked to bless newly established businesses.   Priesthood. Temples to Siliko are usually found in markets and business districts, a small shrine is often located in the corner of many businesses and every thieves guild.   Priests of Siliko are often clerics, bards, and rogues. They usually wear fine silk when conducting services or if they are businessmen but know the value of hiding their identity. the dichotomy of being both the god of thieves and businesses is not lost on the priesthood, they do their best to encourage the Thieves Guild not to target businesses that contain a shrine to Siliko and as a result, the belief that Siliko protects you from thievery has become popular among most people. This gives a continent and helpful cover to those priests who enjoy a little thieving on the side.   Dogma. There are many paths to wealth, some of which are honest. Be savvy in negotiation, the man with the most secrets, holds the greatest advantage. Conceal your intentions, your face will betray you at the bargaining table.
