Xotan Tekli

Xotan Tekli was the first to consider granting animals full consciousness, thus making them people. Xotan Tekli also moved people to form bonds with each other and come together to create societies with shared identities and beliefs. Whilst Xotan Tekli considers themselves a god for all people, after The Sundering the people of Farnelia largely turned away from Xotan Tekli as they had become perceived as a god of cities and castles, rather than tribes. Xotan Tekli wishes for equal societies, something which the god Jolenqauy has perverted and for which Xotan Tekli has not forgiven them.   Followers. Worshipers of Xotan Tekli are rare in Farnelia outside of the Mountain Realms, but in Achandia they are a popular god. Many Masons and those who maintain the fabric of society such as bureaucrats, sheriffs and kind-hearted nobles tend to worship Xotan Tekli. People pray to Xotan Tekli for peace and safety and give thanks for the trappings of civilisation, such as houses and cities.   Church. Most courthouses, government buildings and keeps will have a shrine to Xotan Tekli, many towns and cities will have a church or temple of stone. These churches and temples will often maintain an adjoining chapter house where a small force of knights live who help keep the peace in the local area.   Clerics of Xotan Tekli wear green vestments adorned with a white castle insignia. The knights of Xotan Tekli’s temple wear heraldic tunics with the same colours and usually carry weapons to subdue rather than kill, such as nets, shackles, and a mace or club.   Dogma. People are the guardians of the world, let them rule it and shape it in their image. Come together in harmony to create societies and nations, rule with peace and kindness. Build cities, temples, castles, and monuments, that people may dominate the world.
