Grenngart

Grenngart is the industrial capital of the Varathrax Dominion and seat of the Second Tower. Despite its name, meaning Green Gardens in Common Achosian, it is a smog-choked tangle of manufactories, warehouses, railways, and production infrastructure sitting neatly between the Kupfer Mountains and the Gartensee.
Grenngart is home to the Universität der Entdeckung, the Dominion's premier institution of scientific and aetheric learning. The Universität's reputation is bolstered due to support from the First and Second Towers, both of which are deeply involved in admissions selection and curricula design.
The local industrial infrastructure means that Grenngart is also an economic powerhouse. Goods are manufactured here in quantities belying even Grenngart's considerable size. Supply routes carrying raw material from Saulenberg in the East and shipping routes heading deeper into the Dominion in the West are heavily guarded to ensure that the Tower forces are well-supplied and Dominion aristocrats are well-pampered.
The Avati Family made their home in Grenngart, but their status is unknown after 561 A.C..
