In the early years of the world, shortly before Adatia was isolated from the multiverse some gods and a few of the most powerful creatures drew in powers to use them in the future. One of those drawn in was Paramunth, the copper dragon.

Personal history

Paramunth was still an egg when she came to Adatia, brought in through a portal by the citizens of Nekharat. There she was taken care of by the citizens until, after many years, she finally hatched. At her birth Paramunth was already highly educated, as in her egg she was constantly read countless books from the grand library. She was treated as a marvel, a gift from Miranu, but was at no point given special treatment, especially since she was mentally extremely mature, though she was uncharacteristically playfull. It took her only a few years to master polymorph and she used it to constantly befuddle the scholars. She would use a different form every day, but soon prefered male forms as she realized that she was taken more seriously when in such a form. Throughout the years she had become more and more dissuaded as, even though she had reached the pinnacle of Nekharat society and was well regarded as the most esteemed scholar, but she could do nothing to stop the last of her friends pass on. For the first time in her life Paramunth left her home and began traveling the world, where she met Onyxia. Onyxia was significantly older than she was, but he was the first dragon she had ever met, and she was blinded by his passion. For all his power there was one thing that Onyxia wanted, to return to his original plane of existence. He tried to get Paramunth to help him, but with all she knew she was opposed. The shield around Adatia should not be broken. In rage the older dragon left her alone again. Depressed Paramunth returned to her home, but found it burning. The inhabitants of Nekharat had become the first soldiers in Onyxia’s undead army. Paramunth fell into a deep depression, religiously guarding the destroyed city as she slowly began rebuilding it. She only left when the Avatars came and managed to convince her to leave the city with promises of justice and by leaving a small guard retinue there to protect the secrets of the city. After Onyxia fell she followed Diconom Rex into the Temere wastes and there she found the freshly built crypt of the dead. There she taught the archiver how to properly sort and prepare her affairs. In exchange she was the first permitted to speak with those who had already died. She talked with many of her old teachers and friends and was eventually convinced to serve as the guardian and caretaker of the old city as more and more knowledge was collected. To her surprise one of her oldest friends commented on her aura as though it were glowing and she soon found out she was pregnant. To her trepidation she discovered that she was pregnant with Onyxia’s child. Her friends convinced her to keep the child and after a short fifty years she gave birth to an egg and many years later Hartkenah, her first and only child emerged. She was extremely protective of her child and even the Avatar only learned of him as he emerged close to two hundred years later.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Paramunth has developed strong bonds, both professionally as well as personally, with many influential individuals throughout Adatia. This includes most of the Avatar, the upepr echelon of Branos and at least one aquantance of most major nations.

Mental Trauma

Paramunth refuses to leave The Grand Library for any substantual length of time as she still blames herself for the fall of Nekharat, and as such has made it her personal mission to protect and expand it until The Prophecy is finally fullfilled.

Intellectual Characteristics

She is deeply emotional and philosophical. There is nothing more enjoyable to her than a good conversation with intersting company and an exquisite wine, though her metabolism will not allow her to actually get drunk.
