Dardian
Dardian is the hapalian language of the mostly nomadic Dardians who inhabit the coastal plain of Darden in southeastern Adynía, who are related to the Faronians, Amrans and Rómúkans in the region. It's divided into mostly mutually intelligible dialects spoken by different tribes, and while dardian is closest to amran tongue, faronian influence is present in all but the northernmost dialects farthest from Kingdom of Faron, while conversely the southernmost tribes make heavy use of faronian vocabulary, particularly for concepts related to urban lifestyle and agriculture as opposed to traditional hunting and gathering.
Writing System
The three southernmost tribes living in Harúnnen in the southwestern Kingdom of Faron, namely Agbarol, Zellol and Þúffallol, are the only dardians to make extensive use of writing, traditionally using an script derived from early faronian alphabet amongst themselves and otherwise modern faronian script. Originally adopted to ease trade with the faronians, it has since evolved into an impressive literature that includes epic poetry and mythology, songs and riddles as well as knowledge of magic and medicine.
Geographical Distribution
Dardian is primarily spoken in Darden and the province of Harúnnen.
