Nóþilian
Nóþilian1 is among the most widespread languages spoken within the Kingdom of Faron along with Haþúlin, and the more prestigious of the two, being used by the aristocracy, in courts and for public declarations and inscriptions. Like haþúlin, it belongs to the faronic language family and is written using an alphabet known as desa.
It's primarily spoken in central and northwestern Faron, particularly in and around the capital of Heknalis.

Writing System
Nowadays nóþilian, like haþúlin, is written using the desa alphabet, which is derived from densaral, a script brought long ago by traders from Marissía to the west. Before desa became widely adopted by faronians, another alphabet called æl -also derived from densaral- was used instead to record nóþilian, which was used to write formulaic texts on funerary monuments of kings up until the current dynasty came to power.
