Marissía
Marissían: Marissía /marɪsːija/
Marissía is a region in southern Adynía, bordering Efergen beyond the river Taþyrin to the east, Myrlan Bay to the southeast, the Þatal Plains to the south, Kapor Lake to the west, Zirdinóin beyond the river Níaþan to the north and the Sjorgús Mountains to the northeast.
The region is controlled by the elven Marissíans, who again form the vast majority of the Kingdom of Marissía, one of the oldest continuous civilizations of Adynía due to its relative isolation from the rest of the continent.

Geography
It's a relatively flat region, and very fertile due to being watered by the rivers Níaþan and Taþyrin as well as Kapor Lake.
Fauna & Flora
Marissía, especially the western part, is a haven for a variety of birds, both local and those who stay there during the winter. Notable birds in the region include ospreys, hoopoes and ancestors of the domestic chicken. Kapor Lake supports many species of fish, amphibians and insects as well.
