The Infamous Lute Tavern

“The Infamous Lute Tavern” was a popular local establishment owned and operated by Adonis Orivine and his wife Antonella. In their younger years they were grand adventurers who did well for themselves then settled down to run respectable businesses to aid and entertain fellow adventurers. Adonis was a skilled bard whose storytelling about heroes and villains, heartbreak and valor, drew patrons from near and far. Antonella's skills as an alchemist and brewer provided the social lubricant to make the tavern a very inspired place to be. Many people (of all races) frequented the tavern.
One day the Tavern was found burned with little explanation. The fire is attributed to a rare raiding party from the Llanos Veld who made it across the swift waters of the Lower Arnlow River.

Purpose / Function

The Infamous Lute was built along the North Royal Road in Smithstry along the banks of the Lower Arnlow. It served as an excellent stopping over spot between Wildehold and Whitethorn.

Architecture

The structure was a fairly typical timber structure which had been expanded and modified from a farmhouse into the tavern and Inn.

History

Adonis and Antonella Orivine purchased the old farmhouse and converted it into the tavern and inn.

Tourism

Many travelers visiting the Smithstry countryside used to make a point of visiting the The Infamous Lute to hear Adonis perform.
