Aldvire Military

Aldvire Military, or Aldvire Army, is the military and primary fighting force for the Aldvire government and Vangian Family.

Peacetime Deployment

During peacetime the vast majority of the army is disbanded, save for one and a half batallions of 15,000 soldiers. The first batallion is saved for elite units such as the Vangian Legion. The remainder of the soldiers, broken into squads, act as highway patrolman and city guards.

History

Founded by Ald the Great in 856 after the creation of the Aldvire city-state. When the government changed and the Kingdom of Aldvire was born the military was repurposed to serve the entire kingdom.
