Istbania
Istbania was the first kingdom founded by the human race. It's origins began as the city-state of Cloy, and eventually grew into a controlled territory taking up most of the northern Whispering Desert. The government was disbanded after the destruction of Cloy during the invasion of the Aldvire Empire.

History
Early History
Istbania's origins began as the city-state of Cloy founded by Favl the Clever in 822, and eventually grew into a controlled territory taking up most of the northern Whispering Desert. It was with this territory that the kingdom was forged in 1068.
First Kingdoms
Assassination of Emil II
During the night, late in the year of 1136, a scream rang out in the sleeping halls of Silverspear. At once the guards were in the Grand Vizier's bedchamber and found Emil II on the crawling on the floor, leaving a wide trail of blood behind him as a dark figure followed behind stabbing down with a long curved dagger. The screams faded as the guards lunged at the assassin as the man tried to run, but they caught him at the door and killed him where he stood, however the attack on the Grand Vizier had been too much, and both assassin and ruler died at roughtly the same time. The Grand Vizier was succeeded by his daughter Sarah I, who immidiatly began an investigation, but nothing was ever found out about the lone assassin who killed Emil II.
Basilisk Plague
In 1177, during the reign of Ambed I, a plague of Scale Rot that started in the neighboring kingdom of Cinder, made its way across the border to Cloy, and from there it touched all the cities of Istbania. Quarantines were put in place, but the damage had already started. By the time cases subsided the Rot had claimed the lives of 12,000 Istbanians.
Istbanian Border War
The Istbanian Border War, also known as the Istbanian Expansion Attempt, is the name given to the conflict in 1355 - 1357 between the kingdoms of Cinder led by Grand Vizier Hannah II Yakim and Istbania led by Grand Vizier Sarah II Scolara. The hostilities began when Grand Vizier of Istbania Sarah II attacked and seiged the border city of Osha after deafeating the Attia forces in a short and decisive battle. Once Hannah II Yakim could rally all her forces the following battles saw the deaths of two dragons the blue Celfax with his rider Injax Silvani and violet Lokshmi and a complete route of the Isbanian armies, but not before Sarah II, on the dragon Argol melted the bridge at the Talnor Crossing with dragonfire.
