Vandorn

Born to a Morillisean noble family Vandorn was a talented sorcerer with  the deep seated arrogance common to his family. Arriving in Barovia at the request of his friend he joined with Valentino Van Hal, Greta Halbran and Ophelia Strazni in their attempt to slay Count Strahd Von Zarovich and claim an Angel Thistle.
His attempts would prove unsuccessful as he was easily corrupted by the dark powers seduced towards a path of Ghouldom. Yet before The Hunger could complete its corruption Count Strahd Von Zarovich offered the mentally depleted Vandorn a choice. Become a vampiric spawn and kill his companions and he would be free to leave Barovia. Foolishly the young adventurer agreed but proved unable to slay his allies instead being left for dead by the side of the road.
Here he would roam the woods feeding off beasts and men alike as he could until his capture by Father Gregor Durst. Now he spends his days in agony tortured by the priest in a vain attempt to learn about the vampiric condition.
