Michael was the first-born son of Lord Jefford Patteress, patriarch of Huus Patteress around the period of the Horde Wars at the dawn of the Common Age. Even as a teenager, Sir Michael proved his worth and was feted with the honor, "Hero of the Wars". As an adult, Michael spent his entire life living up to his family's credo of unflinching service to his faith and to his nation. First he served as a stalwart agent of the Church of Marha.
