Nome of the Rivers' Meeting

Around the meeting of the three great rivers – the Terraq, which flows from Elysium along the Great Canyon; the Stonewash which flows from the glacial headwaters of the Stone Valleys; and the Rustwater, which rises in the deep workings of the Iron Hills – three great clans of water Genasi established the Kingdom of River’s Meeting among the jungle terrain.
With a commanding position on the riverine trade routes, River’s Meeting was well on its way from a regal and military power to a mercantile empire by the time of its incorporation into the growing Elysian Federation in CY11.1, and its current form is as a merchant principality. The Dage, Nomarch of River’s Meeting, is the elected head of the Merchants’ Council, consisting of representatives of all the great trading houses of the nome. The five greatest are granted the right to nominate an elector. The other two electoral votes are given to the eldest members of the two surviving foiunder-clans, the Ooliat and the Syeniteh.
