The Arms of Elysium

The Arms of Elysium are a military group in the city of Strobenheim, The City of the Stone Kings, working under the religious ruling of the city. Named after the Pantheon of Elysium, who's gods are the most predominantly worshipped in the country of Alderhardt, The Arms of Elysium are noted to be mainly made up of young orphans that are brought in to a better life in religion, as many young men and women, that would typically become soldiers in the military, leave for Alderhardt in an attempt to join the Knights of Alderhardt or simply join in the efforts against the yuan-ti of Oshal.
Within the Arms of Elysium, there is a title given to their champion, known as the Blade of Elysium. The champion with this title is given ownership of the mighty blade Storm Bringer (one of the blades of The Heirs of the Storm), giving them greater divine power.
The Arms of Elysium are also split into six different sections, as the church in Strobenheim's leadership is split among six individuals, to represent the six kings that the city is named after. The different sections specialise in different areas, which include: the protection of the city, the military battalion sent to aid the Knights of Alderhardt, the preachers who travel to spread the word of the Pantheon of Elysium, the medics and healers, the seekers, who hunt for orphans in the city and the heretic hunters, who seek out those who worship outlawed gods within both the city, as well as the rest of Alderhardt (though to a lesser degree).
