The Military History of the Oshal War

The book itself is rather thin, and simple, written in a note-like form, and keeping details and certain dates as concise as possible. From what you can gather, the book is more like a collection of military records, that Alderhardt Government has released to keep its citizens 'in the loop'.
Most of what you find is too dated to matter, but some of the more recent documentation speaks about the founding of the country of Knaeva six years ago, which proved to be a very effective way of getting the yuan-ti to raid and enslave the people of Alderhardt less, as Knaeva borders Oshal. The disadvantage of this was that the Knights would have to go through two countries to continue with their invasion.
The book itself is copied from many differing accounts, with the most relevant document speaking about the political reasons for the withdrawal of Alderhardt's Military from Oshal. Due to rising tensions with the goliath's of the city of Pruva (capital of the Sahrian Union) after being unable to provide enough troops to aid the defense of Concidorne from the Valkan Invaders, King Florian Meitner withdrew his troops from Oshal to better deal with possible provocations from the goliaths, as they are the only people to ever conquer Kitzstadt. This angered the elves of the The Ithryl Woods and the Sentinels of Knaeva, who allied with Alderhardt to liberate all their people from the yuan-ti of Oshal.
