General Summary
As the night continues to descend, the Four Horsemen initiate their assault on the pirate crew they have been contracted to take out. After a moonlight battle, the group manages to dispatch many crew members and rescue a captive who was on board the ship, who calls himself Ayrimlis. After freeing the elf, he decides to join the adventurers in their assault and get a little revenge for those who have kept him in bondage for years. They enter the Spearhead Caves and have multiple battles with the kobolds who have fortified within the rocky crags of the abandoned cave system. Deep within the twisting passages, they located the ruins of a ship where Captain Boathel and his guard lay in wait. They wipe out the remaining pirates and find a note explaining that the crew of the Xaydro, the kobold pirate crew they were asked to contract, was recently invited to join another pirate crew the adventurers are familiar with, the Masquerade. The group sets up camp as they decide whether to open a locked wooden door with a key the captain had, or make their way down a narrow, web covered passage.
