The Righ

The Righ ("Chief-King") is the semi-hereditary ruler of Albion .
The position of the Righ has been held by the Laird ("Chief") of Clan MacFarlane since the cleaving The Cleaving (over 800 years ago).
The Righ was once the elected High Laird of The Ceithir. The Ceithir was the co-kingship held in concert among the Lairds of The Great Houses during the long era of peace known as the Bonding. In the year 1495 BT, the Laird of Clan MacFarlane slew his co-kings in a violent coup.
The current Righ is Eoghain MacFarlane III, Laird of Clan MacFarlane.
