Government

Breezehome is a small community. As such, it requires very little in terms of formal rulership. The people elect one of their own to the position of 'Windspeaker', which is served until the elected person's death. They are chosen by way of divine prophecy. Candidates are sent on a pilgrimage across the highest peaks of The Morndin Ridge to search a special flower which only grows there called Purple Snowdew. The first to retrieve one of these flowers is believed to have been given the position of Windspeaker by the gods.
The Windspeaker makes decisions which affect the community as a whole. They also act as lawmaster and oversee the protection of the area.

Defences

The town has no formal defense, however due their location they are rarely troubled by the outside world. That said, many of the members of the community have magical abilities and could easily defend themselves.

Industry & Trade

Whilst the village aims to be self-sufficient, in times of trouble the genasi have been known to travel to neighbouring goliath settlements in The Morndin Ridge to engage in trade.

Infrastructure

The village is very simplistic, with few buildings outside of homesteads. The center of town houses a impressive community hall, large enough to accommodate very member of the village, which it often does for large communal meals and celebrations.
Aside from the great hall, at the top of the village, there is a large, pointed-roofed temple dedicated to the gods which the people here hold sacred: Kord, Melora, Pelor and Sehanie.

Assets

Beneath the great hall lays a large cold-stoe dug into the mountain and maintained by sheets of ice and snow. Here the down preserved the salted meat which makes up the bulk of it's diet.

History

The village was founded over 100 years ago from air genasi of the Wesdale province after they grew tired of the persecution they suffered from their neighbours. They were rallied by The first Windspeaker, the late Soar Everlight. Since then the genasi have adapted to their new environment through banding together and as such have created one of the most self-reliant and supportive communities in Concordia.

Houses exclusively made out of stone from the local area.

Geography

Breezehome is location near some of the highest peaks in The Morndin Ridge, making it one of the coldest villages in Concordia.
