Warmaster. Harbek Ironhelm
The laws of the city are enforced by House Ironhelm, who employ a force of approximately 1,000 soldiers (100% Dwarf) to patrol the streets and defend Tordelvar (South)'s people.
The city is built into the south-west-facing mountains of The Morndin Ridge. It outer wall is built securely into the rock and patrolled 24/7. The city itself is located approximately 1 mile from this outer wall, behind a second inner wall. Smaller, palisaded walls secure the bridge which leads to the entrance to The Burakrin as well as The grounds of the palace.
The entrance to The Burakrin is a two pairs of large, stone doors, which form a small passageway between them. This allows one set to be sealed before the second are open, allowing for there to always be a barrier protecting the city from the denizens who call it home.

- All purchases of good and service in the city are subject the 'Allhammer' tax which equates to 5% of the total value.
- Access to The Burakrin is restricted to those with authorisation from House Ironhelm.

History
The city of Tordelvar was one a vast, subterranean network of tunnels, which spread from one side of The Morndin Ridge to the other. It was famed for being the sole home of dwarves in Concordia, easily able to accommodate the vast number of people.
In the years that followed shortly after The Confluence, creatures from deep underground began to assault various areas of the city and, thanks to the their weakened state after their involvement in war with the denizens of the elemental planes, the dwarves were pushed from their ancestral home.
These days, the city is split into two potions, Tordelvar (North) and Tordelvar (South), each located at the periphery of the original city at the edge of the mountains. In order to keep these lesser strongholds safe, the rest of the city was sealed away behind stone doors and renamed The Burakrin.
As a result of the loss of their land, many dwarves ventured from their mountain home and began settling in other areas of Concordia, but most still dream of being able to retake the great halls and tunnels of the original city from the creatures within.
Due to Tordelvar (South)'s outer entrance being more isolated than its northern counterpart, the city's culture and values are far more traditional than Tordelvar (North)'s.
Architecture
The buildings of Tordelver (South) are predominantly made of stone mined from the local area. However, there is a distinction which can be made based on the age of the structures. Older building and fortifications, like the various battlements, are made from a much paler stone found in the original hollow the city now resides in as well as the shallower portions of the adamantine mines. Newer building are made from a darker, volcanic rock which was discovered deeper in the mines as their expansion continued.
Geography
Tordelvar (South) in particular was built upon an area of the original city which housed the great reservoir known as The Dunglor. As a result, the city has far less land mass and suffers from an overcrowding issue, causing some citizens to 'spill out' to the slums located in the tunnel between the city walls.
It has a number of tunnels which extend into deeper into the mountain in various places, most notably the adamantine mine and the entrance to The Burakrin.
