Spellcasting. Ulmarra is a 13th-level spellcaster. Her spellcasting modifier is Charisma (DC 17, +9 to hit with spell attacks) and she has the following spells prepared:

  • 1st-level (4 slots): ensnaring strike, speak with animals, identify (once per day without a spell slot), bless, compelled duel, cure wounds.
  • 2nd-level (3 slots): moonbeam, misty step (once per day without a spell slot), aid, gentle repose, lesser restoration, warding bond.
  • 3rd-level (3 slots): plant growth, protection from energy, blinding smite, crusader's mantle, revivify.
  • 4th-level (1 slot): find greater steed (summoning Kynthia the pegasus), ice storm, stoneskin.
Innate Spellcasting. Ulmarra's innate spellcasting modifier is Charisma (DC 17, +9 to hit with spell attacks). She can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
  • At Will: shocking grasp.
  • 1/Day each: feather fall, levitate.
Melora's Devotee (1/Day). Ulmarra can cast Hunter's Mark with this trait. When she casts this spell in this way, it does not requiring her concentration. Wisdom is her spellcasting ability for this spell.   Melora's Votary (1/Day). Ulmarra can cast Plant Growth with this trait. Wisdom is the spellcasting ability for this spell.   Melora's Disciple (1/Day). Ulmarra can cast Guardian of Nature with this trait. When she casts this spell in this way, it does not requiring her concentration. Wisdom is her spellcasting ability for this spell.


Special Equipment. Ulmarra wears Burnwillow Studded Leather Armour +1 and carries a Rapier of Speed.   Aura of the Wildmother. While Ulmarra is conscious, she and friendly creatures within 10 feet of her gain the following benefits:

  • They can't be frightened.
  • They have resistance to damage from spells.
  • They gain a +4 bonus to the saving throws (already applied to her saving throws).
Burnwillow Armour (5 Charges). When Ulmarra takes fire damage, the armour expends a charge to give her resistance to the triggering damage.   Divine Smite. When Ulmarra hits a creature with a melee weapon attack, she can expend one spell slot to deal radiant damage to the target, in addition to the weapon's damage. The extra damage is 2D8 for a 1st-level spell slot, plus 1D8 for each spell level higher than 1st, to a maximum of 5D8. The damage increases by 1D8 if the target is an undead or a fiend, to a maximum of 6D8.   Unending Breath. Ulmarra can hold her breath indefinitely while not incapacitated.

Actions

Multiattack. Ulmarra makes two attacks with her Rapier of Speed. If she does, she can make an additional attack with her bonus action.   Rapier of Speed. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 5ft., one target. Hit: 1D8+9 piercing damage plus 1D8 radiant damage.   Divine Sense (5/Day). Ulmarra detects the location of any celestial, fiend, or undead within 60 feet of her that is not behind total cover. Within the same radius, she also detects the presence of any place or object that has been consecrated or desecrated, as with the Hallow spell.   Lay on Hands (65/Day). Ulmarra touches a creature and restores a number of hit points to that creature up to the maximum amount remaining in your pool. Alternatively, she can expend 5 hit points from your pool of healing to cure the target of one disease or neutralize one poison affecting it. This feature has no effect on undead and constructs.   Channel Divinity (1/short rest). Ulmarra has the ability to channel divine energy directly from his deity to fuel various divine features.

  • Nature's Wrath. Ulmarra causes spectral vines to spring up and reach for a creature within 10 feet of her that she can see. The creature must succeed on a DC 17 Strength or Dexterity saving throw (its choice) or be restrained. While restrained by the vines, the creature repeats the saving throw at the end of each of its turns. On a success, it frees itself and the vines vanish.
  • Turn the Faithless. Ulmarra presents her holy symbol, and each fey or fiend within 30 feet of her that can hear you must make a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is turned for 1 minute or until it takes damage. A turned creature must spend its turns trying to move as far away from her as it can, and it can't willingly move to a space within 30 feet of her. It also can't take reactions. For its action, it can use only the Dash action or try to escape from an effect that prevents it from moving. If there's nowhere to move, the creature can use the Dodge action. If the creature's true form is concealed by an illusion, shapeshifting, or other effect, that form is revealed while it is turned.
    BONUS ACTIONS   Harness Divine Power (2/Day). Ulmarra can expend one use of her Channel Divinity to regain one expended spell slot of 3rd-level or lower.

When on a mission, or is otherwise engaged in combat, Ulmarra wears ornate, elven-style leather armour with a cream tabard. The rest of the time, she prefers to wear a cream, one-shoulder dress with a light-green sash belt with a necklace depicting the symbol of The Wildmother.

Personal history

Ulmarra is both a powerful personality, described as graceful yet deadly by those who know her. She is incredibly kind to all people she meets, unless they oppose her beliefs or stand in her way, in which case she is known to turn incredibly cold towards them. She is utterly devoted to her father and Melora's Conclave, wanting nothing more than to protect nature and support balance in the world.   Ulmarra was born in Breezehome. Her late mother, Aerial, was a resident of the village, while her father was a human from The Heartland Forest, a member of Melora's Conclave task with searching for abominations rumoured to be dwelling in the mountains. The pair married, began their family and moved back to her fathers home in The Mothertree once he completed his mission.   Eventually, once she reached adulthood, Ulmarra was inducted into Melora's Conclave alongside her parents and made the decision to take an sacred oath to the goddess Melora, promising to protect her home and places in the world like it, thus beginning her role as a Paladin of the Wildmother.   In her time with the conclave, she has watched her father rise to become The master of the Wild, while she rose to the rank of Winterstalker, becoming one of their three Slayers. These days, she can be found in similar pursuit to that of her father in his earlier years, searching the county for anything which would disrupt Melora's balance and bring swift justice to them.   Most recently, she has been in pursuit of the Necromancer Morothos as he makes his way across Concordia, defiling graveyards for their bodies. Though she does not yet know his motives, she is determined to stop him.
