Draconic Reservoir of Souls

An artifact in times past that kepts dragon's souls safe, storing them within the reservoir so they could be revived into fresh bodies every few thousand years. The collective power of so many mighty creatures allowed for them to cast magic without the Weave, further empowering their supremacy over hominids. This artifact was a gift from the draconic gods Fayenok and Auro'thaken, and as such influenced the souls of all draconic beings. Metallic and Chromatic dragons shared similar axi in regards to good and evil. Metallics were more noble and kind while chromatics cruel and craven.
This artifact would be destroyed near the end of the rise against dragonkind, separating dragonkind from their source of magic and their endless cycle of soul recycling. The souls of dragonkind that were within the reservoir were cast into the journey, the passing of so many powerful beings solidifying Utosserix and Silinthinius's positions as Theotians within the world.
