Dergonhad Common

Dergon is the common trade language of Dagmon nations on the major continent of Dergonhad. It is primarily known only by the weathy merchants, traders, and diplomantions of the many nations of Dergonhad. Unlike the Common Tongue of Ethae that spread from a single dominating nation, Dergon is an amalgamation of languages from the large coastal nations of their continent. Dedicated record keepers throughout Dergonhad keep the language consistent though the generations. Dagmon dominance of trade through the Cota Ocean has seen the language spread to the islands of that Ocean and even to mainland Ethae. In the dagmon settlements on Ethae, several dialects of this language, such as Cavean Dergon and Creya Dergon have appeared over time.
