Slalansev

Commonly known as Slalansev, the slave lands, by the Besed Orchold Orc, Horndale is a lowland region in the far northern foothills of the Areian Peaks. A relatively flat land, surrounded by the steep hills of the mountain range, Horndale is the meeting of the Fallallow River and Boarwine River, before merge to enter the Horn Well. Controlled by the Besed, the dale is arguably the only track of land on the Thorn Horn capable of growing crops and thus home to the orc's farmer slaves. The strategic importance of this means it is also the most protected region of the Besed territory, even more so than the Gramfells to the south.

The importance of the crops has given the slaves what little power they can have. The orc, avoid entering Horndale, as long as the food supply is 'tributed' to them. Vargs (Dire Wolf) are keep out of the dale to avoid any accidents. This should not be seen as weakness or kindness on the Besed's part. They only want their food supply kept consistent. Any deviation to deliveries, escape attempts, or damage to crops by slaves, result in ruthless retaliation. Often indiscriminate, targeting leaders failing to keep their fellow slaves in line. The orcs are clear, provide crops and be left alone to live in peace or suffer and die, there is always more slaves out there.
