Horn Well

The Horn Well is a fresh water, deep lake on the northern end of the Areian Peaks in the Thorn Horn of Tinjir. The lake marks the northern end of fertile Horndale, where the Fallallow River and the Boarwine River meet before flowing into the lake. The waters of those rivers exit the lake at the north end into the Hotaa Kota River. The lake's region is steep hill lands of seasonal grasses and evergreen trees that can survive the bitter cold winters and scorching summer heat. During the summer months the Horn Well is often covered in a mist as the cold glacial waters from up the mountain meets the warm lowland waters in the lake.
The Horn Well is a natural entry point for the fertile Horndale, and the Gramfells, the home turf of the Besed Orchold. As such the lake is heavily patrolled by the Besed Orc and is the natural hunting ground for the vargs (Dire Wolf) of the region.
