Lesser Gamgoo
the Border River
The Lesser Gamgoo is a branch of the Gamgoo River about 10 miles upstream from the coast of the Cota Ocean. The Cavea city of Ashara sits on a rocky peninsula between where the Gamgoo and the Lesser meet. This has given rise to the citizens of that city calling the Lesser Gamgoo the Border River as it, most so than the Gamgoo, has come to define the edge of the city limits.
The Lesser Gamgoo breaks away from the greater river and its wetlands ruining through a marshy valley to the southwest. The river, and its often-steamy mist filled valley, have an eerie presence, along with a reputation of death. Local crime bosses are said to deposit bodies in the region on dark nights. Something that the wealthy hunters that often use the valley for sport would scoff at. Their claims are to have never found a body in the region. Others refute this by pointing out that these hunters track the Tinjir Crocodile that infest the river. A creature that well known for cleaning an area of bodies.
