Midland

Wine Town

Located in the central riverlands regions of the Duchy of Ron in the Kingdom of Toemanshire, Midland was a town of nearly 1000 people, and famous for its Tinjir Red wine. Midland is situated on the western bank of the Redhand River, with the wealthier landowners' homes on the east bank. No bridges cross the river, with river crossing by boats and ferries. The town is built in a valley, with is streets and buildings gently sloping up the sides of the valley's riverbanks.

It was the largest settlement in the Duchy of Ron before the Orc invasions of the kingdom. Since the invasion, it remains one of the few surviving towns of the duchy. The population has tripped during the orc's reign as they force survivors not enslaved into the city.

With High Seat Castle, the old seat of power for the duchy destroyed, Midland has become the default capital of the region. Its city council leading the duchy until a new duke is appointed by King Carab.
