Hamis Top

Deep in the mountains of the northern Loslands raises the gentle peak of Mount Silah. A sacred site for the natives of Jerain, the mountain top is home to Elder Tree Hamis one of the last of those ancient trees. The mountain is viewable from a distant, but dangerous to approach. Nature itself seems to want to protect the tree from danger, as do the Woyd'are and Aos si guardians that patrol the land.

Magic permeates the mountain. The air calm and gentle, even in the middle of a storm. It may be hell to get up the mountain to Hamis, but those rare few that survive find a peaceful joy come over them, as all the cares of the world wash away. It takes a strong will to leave the mountaintop, with many happily allowing themselves to die sitting in the tranquility of the shade of the Elder Tree.
