Amira Nerali Quloth (a.k.a. Devotion)

Devotion is the daughter of Mother Aegis and Harmony's grandmother.
Upon her mother's death, she inherited the title of Wild Magic Mother and led their tribe of nomadic tieflings for five years before relinquishing the position to her daughter Valiance in favor of pursuing her true passion: adventuring.

Personal history

Growing up as the daughter of the esteemed and revered Mother Aegis, Devotion worked hard to make a name for herself within the tribe. Blessed with the same chaotic magic that allowed her mother to shepherd the tieflings out of the Nine Hells, she became a skilled sorcerer under her mother's tutelage. She longed for a chance to step out of her mother's shadow and test the limits of her magical capabilities.
That chance came shortly after her 20th birthday, when the tribe came across a human town overrun by undead: Ravenmoor. At first the humans were afraid and attempted to drive the tieflings off, and while Mother Aegis was happy to leave them to their fate and move on, Devotion saw an opportunity to do some good in the world and put her skills to the test at the same time. After some convincing, Mother Aegis agreed to let Devotion and a small group of her friends stay behind and help the humans fight off the undead in the city.
After some investigation, Devotion discovered the source of the humans' plight: the shadow crossing which now resides under First Light Orphanage. She led a combined force of human and tiefling warriors into the shadowfell to Al-Kin's castle and together they discovered a pair of dragons held captive there. They managed to rescue one, a silver dragon named Morn, but the other, a bronze dragon named Kydus, refused to leave. With the threat eliminated, Devotion and her friends soon left the area to reunite with their tribe, but Morn never forgot his debt to her and swore that he would always do anything for her and her descendants.
Devotion never forgot the thrill of this adventure, nor the friendship she'd forged with Morn. Though she yearned to set off on her own and make her own story, she remained with the tribe for another 24 years. When she inherited her mother's title, the rest of the tribe looked upon her with admiration and respect, remembering fondly her deeds in Ravenmoor. However, after just five short years, Devotion relinquished the position to her daughter Valiance, who at 17 was already shaping up to be a better leader than her mother. At that time, she finally decided to follow her dreams of adventure and left the tribe. She has not been seen or heard from since.
