Lonaira

Island off the East coast of Val Xora in The Sea of Koshira. Its name in elvish is a short hand for horrible island.
Due to the dangerous nature of traveling through The Sea of Koshira and the name of the island no sailors brave sailing to the Island. It has a active volcano that is constantly erupting to make any settlement impossible.
After The Path of Nightshade uncovered the mysteries of Solanna Bael and were greeted by The Lamplighters. Randolfo the Magnificent revealed to them the volcano is a massive illusion to hide the true nature of the island to outsiders. Under the illusion a beautiful elven tower with no access from the ground lies on a mountain with nests of Hippogriffs canvasing the mountain side. Elven Drow mounted on Hippogriffs patrol the skys and guard for intruders.
The Tower is home of a varient of Randolfo the Magnificent. He started the organization of The Lamplighters to hide to secerts of Hrothbert. He acts as a judge and jury to those who seek the truth about the events of The Wondering and Warnings of Hrothbert and Winifred. For centuries the The Lamplighters have kept the power from the hands of those who would do evil with its knowledge.

Geography

The island is roughly 12-11 miles taken up mostly by a towering vocano/mountain. Dense jungle wraps itself around the base.
