The party flies to Nepttin to explore the potential of a Grimore being located near the island. On the way the talk to Gilderoy - Suit of Armor about some pressing questions.

The Party starts by reporting to Randolfo the Magnificent via Sending to report what happened to his lamplighters and where they are in the city of Crow. Randolfo replies to state that a white dragon has gone missing and no one has seen him in awhile.   After some discussion with the party Bobushio wants to go to Nepttin. He updates Thuniel about the island and how it jumps around. How they found a map that said “this is where Nepttin will be when the stars are in this position.” Bobushio picked up the party after they shipwrecked, and they told him about the map. He swindled them out of the treasure by offering to pay them a lump sum which they all agreed to do. When they arrived they discovered the people on the island had completely forgotten their previous lives, and the party started to forget too. The party noticed each day they would lose something in there possesion, which went to the “God in the mountain.” Eventually they discovered, Ian could cast Remove Curse and get your memories back. In the forest, they saw all sorts of creatures, from all climetes and planes. They then went to the volcano by getting The leader of the town of Ecco a centaur named Kag, to take them to the God. At the top of the mountain, was a caldera lake. Nerezza comes and asks for tribute, and the more valuable the item, the better the chance they don’t die. Nerezza had kidnapped a bunch of Bobushio’s people, and Eros, the guy on the island who had figured out how to remove the curse everyday. Nerezza was a Beholder/Morkoth combination. Inside a secret cavern, they found a bunch of hidden ships. Moz befriended a fish who led them in. Ian saved the party, they saved the hostages and found tons of treasure from ages past. After they killed Nereza, the island stopped jumping. I was believed his magic was resposible. Gilly got her ship there.   When they returned to the village Ecco, the people there had started to remember themselves and it was blowing up the lives they had made on the island. Bobushio offers them the ships and offers to let them join the pirate nation.   Reading the chapter 12 of The Wondering and Warnings of Hrothbert and Winifred titled "The Expanse and The Phoenix" made Bobushio think about Nerezza and how he seemed to share traits from the chapter. The party decides to go to Nepttin, it will take three days or so, thus they decide to talk to Gilderoy. We relay to him all the information we have and then we can ask about what he remembers around that. Bobushio is able to tell us about Mordenkainen and the Circle of Eight; Mordie was the greatest wizard who ever lived. Hrothbert thought he could out think Mordenkainen, which showed his hubris. M and the eight founded The Aislinn Tower.   What can you tell us about why the Circle of Eight disbanded? Gilderoy says it has been disputed, but he has insider information. Many people think they disbanded because they were all too powerful and had different goals and aims. What really tore them apart was that many of them got bruised egos over being duped by a little kid and they couldn’t reconcile that. Some whispered that it wasn’t the boy, but someone controlling him. Aku defeated them and that freaked them out too. Some of them spent the rest of their lives trying to figure out how to get him back into a tree, and they couldn’t figure it out. This might have happened in Drakenwall. There are whispers of journals they wrote that might give us more information.   Where should we look for the Circle of Eight journals? He would guess that if Aku knew where they were, he would go get them. If Aku hasn’t managed to find them yet, then they are likely lost to the world. Aku being bound to the grimoire means that whoever has it has dominion over Aku. If Ukaru has it, it would explain a lot. There’s another grimoire that made the warforged, so does Ukaru have that tome? Or does he have both or none?   How can we safely handle these grimoires when we find them? Each grimoire has its own way of being handled. The thing that is the same for all of them is you have to be able to understand the language they are written in. The key is that if you don’t understand that language, that will kill you. If you are trying to interpret or translate the language, it will kill you. The language is the same for each tome, once you unlock it.   What language is it? Gilderoy says there was a time he could remember it.   Based on what we told you about Nerezza, where should we look for the grimoire? You logic that it’s on Nepttin is sound.   What will make you happy? Serve my masters and give them information.   What do you WANT, though? I am at your service. I had been asleep for thousands of years when you found, so I just like being used more.   Gilderoy remembers that Hrothbert and the Tower both used manifest zones to hide the grimoires from others because the energy output can mask the magic of the grimoires.   Magic researchers might know where the zones are, and some might be charted if they find the right map. Zones are linked to certain planes. Places Zones have been found are, one in a book in The Lokenvale Athenaeum, a couple near cities like Astrafell and Rockshire, etc. If they can locate them, it might help know where to look for Grimores. Manifest Zones are not common knowledge, though settlements might gravitate toward certain types of manifest zones because they influence the environment. Gilderoy believes the MZ on Nepptin might link to Kythri - The Churning Chaos.   Bobushio’s research and working with Marwynn Fenwick indicates that the books themselves might create or influence the manifestation of Manifest Zones. They starts putting together a map of Manifest zones. Moz and Gilly know that Kythri - The Churning Chaos is the exact opposite of Daanvi - The Perfect Order, and it’s just all the elements flowing and boiling around and only someone of strong will can stabilize their immediate areas. People in Kythri - The Churning Chaos tend to live lives of spontaneous actions. The lands can change within hours and critters adapt and thrive or perish. There is a geographical place called the Sea of Chaos. Kythri is the home of the Slaad. Time is fluid there.   Gilly and Thuniel work on training Highwing. They manage to rein him in enough to let her ride him. Gerrig Grimhelm is there, trying to help Highwing learn to focus during battle conditions.   Moz goes to The Lokenvale Athenaeum to find a tree that can grow on the ship that can be enlarged to allow treewalking. She is greeted with "Malady" by Theodoric Topos upon her arrival. Theo tries to whoo Moz the ENTIRE visit, with poems, songs, and cross cultural traditions, after some time she does find the right place to find the right tree travels there and she names it the FahKus Tree.   The closer the party travels to Nepttin, the colder it gets. As they approch Mount Nezburn, they notice that the island isn’t a frozen wasteland. Although the lake at the opening is frozen. It’s not tropical like before, but it doesn’t look like a a snowy wasteland like land this south should. It does add to the theory that there might be a manifestation zone close by.
