Altus Kaesen

The late Lord of Casterian Valley and father of Adrian Kaesen. He was a retired adventure who had won Lordship of the Valley from the previous Lord in a bet. Once he assumed power he improved the state of the people and bargained with the Fey who wandered into their realm. As he grew older he was a beloved Leader and well liked man. He managed to draw the attention of The One with No Face and unintentionally wooed the God, and for a time they dwelled in the Valley looking to be with the Charismatic Lord. After a year of flirting and bardic duels the two ended up together for a time, with The One with No Face revealing their true identity to Altus after few months. Altus was not dissuaded and instead embraced them. The One with No Face carried a child and, due to other events outside of their control had to leave shortly after Adrian's birth. Altus raised Adrian as best he could and when Altus contracted The White Blight he left Adrian the title of Lord and kept himself apart from the people. When he was entombed a festival was held celebrating the life of the Great Lord.
